Database as a Service
When architecting a Database as a Service (DBaaS), It can be hard to keep both developers and operations teams happy. While the former want speed and ease of use, the latter require strict controls around data protection and access. Moreover, there are persistent challenges to DBaaS projects, including:
- High-performance storage, networking, and data services at scale
- “Noisy neighbor” issues with a variety of applications sharing the same infrastructure
- Disaster recovery and data backup
- Data security
