Professional Services Engineer

Overview

The Professional Services Engineer will containerize applications, assist with cluster install and configuration, troubleshooting and repairs. With the ultimate goal of achieving customer acceptance for the implemented solution. During the process, special attention and effort will be placed on the customer experience with focus on: fully understanding the customer's business environment and objectives; establishing and delivering set expectations; ensuring clarity and continual communication throughout the implementation process; and providing a consultative value-add experience for the customer.

Duties of the Professional Services Engineer:
  • Be an integral part of the client implementation process through providing end-to-end call and multichannel delivery solutions in a consultative manner.
  • Install and configure the Diamanti cluster for each customer's unique requirements.
  • Containerize customer applications so those applications can be migrated from existing infrastructure to the Diamanti cluster.
  • Provide customized training to ensure customers have a thorough understanding of the Diamanti solution including Kubernetes, Docker and container architectures.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of product capabilities to creatively implement features to achieve customer outcomes.
  • Provide the Diamanti Sales team and customers with well-defined statements of work.
  • Work with customers to develop the project timeline and stage goals. As well as delivering status updates on the project to customers and Diamanti management.
Skills/Qualifications of the Professional Services Engineer:
  • Professional Service Engineer Experience 5+ years
  • Linux Experience 5+ years preferably Red Hat based Linux
  • Kubernetes experience

Customer Service Engineer II

Overview

The Customer Service Engineer will work with customers remotely to install, configure the cluster, troubleshooting and repairs. With the goal of achieving customer acceptance for the implemented solution. During the process, special attention and effort will be placed on the customer experience with focus on: resolving the customer issues in a timely fashion; ensuring clarity and continual communication throughout the process; and providing a positive support experience to the customer.

  • The customer support engineer will provide telephonic and remote support to customers to resolve issues with the Diamanti software stack; Kubernetes, Docker and Diamanti’s software and firmware.
  • Provide telephonic support to customers to resolve issues with the hardware of the Diamanti appliance.
  • Work with customers to troubleshoot performance issues with the deployed Diamanti solution.
  • For each customer issue, the customer support engineer will document the issue, all customer communications and resolutions in Diamanti’s ticketing system.
  • Provide customer with status updates on a routine basis per Diamanti’s support policy.
  • File bug reports with engineering for issues encountered with deployed Diamanti solution.
  • Publish knowledge base articles based on issues resolved for customers.
  • As needed escalate the case appropriately to the next tier of support to ensure timely resolution of customer issues.
